GOALS FOR THIS MODULE:

  • Understand what it means to have compassion for yourself and others.

  • How to stay in alignment with universal consciousness.

  • Begin the practice of “3 Nice Things,” to rapidly grow your self-love and self-awareness.

  • Begin the practice helping others in ways that feels good and raises your vibration.

  • Create alignment and healing in the Heart Chakra.


Course Content


Compassion

Compassion is the fastest path to realizing your passion (Come, passion). When you are feeling a negative emotion and having a hard time getting out of that feeling, reach out to another who is in need or suffering in some way and offer them healing in some form, even if it’s a kind word.

The act of serving helps you to get back into connection with the universal consciousness. It helps you to recognize your connection to something outside of yourself and get back into recognition with Oneness.

We achieve Oneness through compassion, and once we enter into that state, we are working alongside source consciousness. This brings you into joy, which gives you more things to be joyful about.

It is impossible to discover your passion or embody it while existing in separation. The fastest way to realizing the reason you’re here is to be in service to others. If it feels good to help, do it.

Self-compassion

The most direct route to manifesting is to extend some of that compassion to yourself. Consider all the things you’ve learned in this course so far. Have you noticed any slip-ups or circumstances you could have handled differently? If so, give thanks for the awareness of this. It takes time to form new habits. Give yourself a break and know that your awareness is growing with each week, and the knowledge you have of yourself will only fuel further awareness and growth.

Self-compassion also includes time for rest and recuperation. You may find it taxing to do all of this self-work. It’s important to understand that you are changing the mainframe of your brain right now and that can feel exhausting. What have you done for yourself lately?


Journal

  1. What are some ways you can give back to yourself? Is it a bubble bath? Hearing soothing music? Eating a piece of chocolate? Getting a massage? You get to choose. You can do something as small as burning a yummy smelling candle or something as large as  booking a retreat for yourself.

  2. What are the ways you can serve others that promotes your own well-being? In what ways can you give that feels good to you? If what you come up with feels obligatory at all, it is not for you to do. Choose something different.

Action

  1. Beginning this week, do 3 nice things for yourself each day. This does not mean you should do the laundry because you will feel better after you’ve done it or practice yoga because you should. Do these things if necessary, but do not count them as part of the 3 things you do to fill your own cup. This practice will naturally attract more of what you want in your life. When you show the universe that you care about your own joy, it will respond in kind. Do not slack on this exercise. It is the most important one in this program.

  2. Do one thing this week that will positively impact another. This act must be something you’ve never done before and also in harmony with what makes you happy. Acts of kindness out of obligation will not help you expand into your purpose in life. You must do them because you want to. You will notice if your efforts are in alignment with your soul’s purpose when your heart fills with joy as a result of taking the action.

  3. Make these exercises a weekly practice and write down all things you’ve done for yourself and others each week. By the time you have finished this course, you will have enough acts of kindness tallied up that you can look at in order to see what it is that fills your heart with joy. This is your big clue toward realizing why you’re here, right now, on this planet.
